Quantum computing: a new technological era?

Quantum computing offers extraordinary possibilities with its many applications. To prepare a new generation of diverse leaders, Parité sciences invites you to learn more about the field.

On August 20 at noon, come and meet physicist Sarah Blanchette, Executive Director of the Bachelor of Science in Quantum Information Science at the Université de Sherbrooke. She'll talk to us about this fascinating field, as well as her background and passion for the quantum world.

The 45-minute interview, aimed at teachers and caregivers of primary, secondary and college students, will take place live on the Parité Sciences Facebook page and will be broadcast afterwards on its YouTube channel.

Parité Sciences is a project created by researchers at the Université de Montréal. With financial support from various government and private organizations, Parité Sciences supports Quebec's educational sector to increase the presence of women in the fields of science, engineering, technology and mathematics.

This event is made possible by the financial contribution of the Quebec government, via the Ministère de l'Économie et de l'Innovation - NovaScience program, and the Secrétariat à la condition féminine.
