Jean-François Arguin
TENURED PROFESSOR • UNIVERSITY OF MONTREAL
Jean-François Arguin joined the faculty of the Department of Physics at the University of Montréal in 2012. He was previously a researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, in the United States. He has organized several physics research events for college students and teachers. He has been a member of the Physical Diversity Committee of the University of Montreal since its inception. He completed a DEC at Cégep Garneau, in Quebec.
Mirjam Fines-Neuschild
POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLAR IN EDITION • CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY
Mirjam Fines-Neuschild is a postdoctoral researcher at Concordia University where she studies the understandings, experiences, and approaches of university researchers to issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion. She completed an individualized doctorate in physics and communication at the University of Montreal. Through her research and social involvement, she aims to make STEM environments more inclusive. She completed a DEC at Cégep Édouard-Montpetit, in Longueuil.
Julie Hlavacek-Larrondo
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR • UNIVERSITY OF MONTREAL
Julie Hlavacek-Larrondo is a professor of physics at the University of Montreal. She specializes in the study of black holes and holds a Canada Research Chair. She is also co-founder of the Physical Diversity Committee of the University of Montreal. She completed a DEC at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf in Montreal.

Maria Delgado
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS • UNIVERSITY OF MONTREAL
Maria holds a bachelor's degree in communications as well as a post-graduate diploma (DESS) in social administration from the Université de Montréal, and has over a decade's experience in project management in the continuing, post-secondary, and popular education sectors. She also has corporate training consulting experience in the private sector.
Jean-François Carrier
ADVISOR, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR UNDER GRANT • UNIVERSITY OF MONTREAL
Jean-François Carrier is a medical physicist at the CHUM and a researcher at the CHUM Research Center. He specializes in medical physics, both for radiation oncology and nuclear medicine. Since 2019, he has joined the faculty of the Department of Physics at the University of Montreal. He completed a DEC at Cégep de Sainte-Foy.
Laura Vaché
PROGRAM COORDINATOR • UNIVERSITY OF MONTREAL
Laura holds a Master's degree in Scientific and Technical Communication and has worked for several years for non-profit and other organizations in the fields of communications, project management and community engagement. She has had the opportunity to work on the development of STEM-related educational programs and to organize events to showcase a variety of educational and career paths of women in STEM.
Johanne Côté
TRAINER
Johanne Côté has been teaching science and mathematics at the high school level for more than 25 years. She has also taught mathematics at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf since 2014. She completed a research master's degree in nutritional biochemistry at the University of Montreal. She completed a DEC at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf in Montreal.
Fannie Bilodeau
STUDENT • UNIVERSITY OF MONTREAL
Fannie Bilodeau is a master's student in experimental particle physics at Université de Montréal. She previously completed a DEC in pure and applied natural sciences at Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe, and a bachelor's degree in physics at Université de Montréal. Passionate about teaching, she is also a teaching assistant, and aspires to teach physics at the college level. Through her involvement with Parité Sciences, Fannie aims to foster the success of women wishing to study in STEM fields, from an intersectional perspective.
Lucie Boudreault
STUDENT • UNIVERSITY OF MONTREAL
Lucie Boudreault is a Physics major with a certificate in Criminology. Curious and energetic, she has accumulated over 80 credits as a student in business administration, public safety and physical security. A former military policeman, she has written a book on the challenges of living with a bipolar diagnosis.
Blanche Mongeon
STUDENT • UNIVERSITY OF MONTREAL
Blanche Mongeon is a doctoral student in biomathematics at the Université de Montréal. She previously completed a double DEC in natural sciences and humanities at Cégep du Vieux Montréal, then a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science at UdeM. Her current research focuses on the development and optimization of preclinical mathematical models in oncology. Through her involvement with Parité sciences, she hopes to be able to show young people that women can succeed.

Stéphanie Luna

Stéphanie Luna is doing an MBA at HEC Montréal. She holds a doctorate in biomedical sciences, specializing in aging sciences, from the University of Montreal and holds a diploma in public administration from the National School of Public Administration. For three years, she acted as a member of the advisory committee of the Chief Scientist of Quebec, the Intersectoral Student Committee of the Quebec Research Funds. She completed her DEC at Cégep de Sherbrooke.
Olivier Hernandez
DIRECTOR • RIO TINTO ALCAN PLANETARIUM
Olivier Hernandez is director of the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium, he is an expert astrophysicist in instrumentation, specializing in galaxies and exoplanets. He obtained his engineering degree at the École centrale de Marseille and his master's degree in physics at the University of Montreal. He also holds a doctorate in astrophysics from the University of Montreal. Co-founder and one-time coordinator of iREx, he was also director of operations for the Observatoire du Mont-Mégantic (OMM).
Janelle Fournier
EDUCATION MANAGER • ACTUA
Janelle Fournier is the Education Manager at Actua, a Canadian STEM outreach organization. She is also a doctoral candidate in the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa. She is interested in integrating engineering concepts into high schools and passionately promotes gender diversity in STEM. Before starting her doctoral studies, Janelle taught STEM for nine years in a French-language high school in Ontario.
Audrey Groleau
PROFESSOR • UNIVERSITY OF QUEBEC AT TROIS-RIVIÈRES
Audrey Groleau is a professor of science and technology didactics at the University of Quebec, Trois-Rivières. Her research interests focus on the scientific expertise of future scientists, engineers, and teachers in a current context. She did her college studies at Cégep Garneau.
Kadidia Haidara
DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Kadidia Haïdara is a development officer at Concertation Montreal in the Parity, Diversity and Inclusion team and deals specifically with the Montreal Girls & Code Movement, whose mission is to encourage the interest of young women and girls for training and careers in technology. She completed her college studies outside Quebec at the Lycée de Grand-Bassam on the Ivory Coast.
Marylou Fournier Tondreau

MASTER'S STUDENT IN ASTROPHYSICS AND PHARMACIST
Marylou Fourner Tondreau is a master's student in physics at the University of Montreal, Institute for Research on Exoplanets. In addition, she holds an undergraduate doctorate in pharmacy (2014) and a master's degree in advanced pharmacotherapy (2016) from the University of Montreal, she also works as a pharmacist at the CHU Sainte-Justine. She completed a DEC at the Centre d'études collégiales de Montmagny.
